I am one of them. Hi there.
I'm guessing it's because you want to know a little more about me – and perhaps also find out if I'm the right person to help you with a project...?
Either way.
The only thing you'll find here is a bit about me. Both the private and the professional side.
It's not that structured, and it's not that polished, as my professional side.
This is just me, at my own pace, and to the extent I feel like sharing.
... I am both a father and a nerd.
I have always had a desire to understand people and technology – and preferably find ways where the two things can work well together.
This has taken me far and wide in the tech world: I've contributed to open source projects, led Google Summer of Code projects, worked with community management, and coded into the late evening hours.
Today I spend my free time being a father (and becoming an even better father), while practicing to balance life between the many elements.
I am actually quite curious by nature and passionate about what I do.
I love being creative, understanding how things work, and in my spare time I try to build different things that make sense. Sometimes just for fun.
... is that the opposite of screen and work?
Well. Not always. Sometimes relaxation in itself can just be relentless coding and
problem-solving in a project...
But okay!
Sometimes you also need to take a complete break. And preferably without a screen. That's nice.
When that happens, you can often find me here...:
I've started running again in 2025 – not far, but regularly. It's mostly about clearing my
head and getting my body going.
When the run doesn't appeal, I find peace and energy at the local
gym. It's amazing what a good workout can do for both body and mind.
I'm at my best when I'm out in nature – both on planned trips and the spontaneous kind,
where you don't quite know where you'll end up.
That's where I find peace, new ideas, and a sense of freedom.
Among other things, I've become a capable troll hunter that way. Other
times the trip goes to places like the Opera.
Whether it's cooking, coding, DIY projects, or something completely different, I love to
immerse myself.
I'm at my best when I can learn something new and feel that the understanding becomes deeper – where
the details start to make sense.
Yes - I also love taking photos. But actually not for anyone but myself.
